SUKKUR: A man was booked for killing his wife for honour with the help of his two associates in Abdul Karim Marhato village near Thull town of Jacobabad district on Wednesday.

Amir Bukhsh Banglani, the brother of the deceased woman, Gohar Khatoon, 22, lodged an FIR against Ghulam Jan at the Bahoo Khoso police station stating that the suspect with the help of Sadiq Banglani and two other friends, shot dead his wife after accusing her of having an extra-marital affair.

The police shifted the woman’s body to the Thull Taluka Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Raids were carried out to arrest the suspects but none of them could be traced till late in the night.
