LAHORE: The PML-Q leadership has said the Punjab government has imposed a “mini-martial law” in the province depriving people of their right to protest.
Talking to reporters after meeting with Dr Tahirul Qadri here on Friday, Pervaiz Elahi said the Shahbaz-government had imposed mini-martial law in the province.
He said: “Those coming for Youm-i-Shuhada are peaceful citizens and should be allowed to take part in it,” he said and asked the government to behave democratically and not use police force to kill innocent citizens.
