ISLAMABAD: With the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s around the corner, leaves of Islamabad police personnel have been cancelled.

A notification issued by Inspector General of the Islamabad Police Aftab Ahmed Cheema on Friday says all personnel of the force are to report to duty.

The notification is effective from today to August 14 and does not state a reason for its issuance.

Article 245 is also currently in effect in the capital where the PTI is planning to hold a million march to protest against alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections and to push for a resignation from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif followed by a mid-term election in the country.
