15 outlaws arrested

ISLAMABAD: The capital police on Friday claimed to have arrested 15 outlaws and recovered stolen items and weapons from their possession.

A spokesman said the Sabzi Mandi police apprehended three persons after recovery of liquor from their possession. A man was arrested along with a 30-bore pistol and ammunition in the Nolor police area. The Shahzad Town police rounded up a suspect involved in theft.

The Koral police said they arrested three suspects involved in illegal gas filling while two persons were caught carrying a 7mm gun along with ammunition and nine bottles of liquor.

The Lohi Bher police arrested two bootleggers while the Margalla and Tarnol police nabbed two suspects and recovered a 30-bore pistol and an 8mm gun from their possession.

The Shalimar police arrested a man after recovering a 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from his possession.

The Industrial Area police also apprehended a man for carrying a 30-bore illicit pistol along with ammunition.
