GUJRAT: A 10-year-old boy from Chak Bhola village was left grievously injured when his arms were chopped off, DawnNews reported on Thursday.

The son of an influential landowner allegedly pushed the minor onto a machine in the village on the outskirts of Gujrat over a minor altercation two days earlier, which left his limbs severed from his body. The boy was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Gujrat for treatment.

The incident emerged today after a FIR was filed by the police at Saddar police station in Gujrat.

Police claimed arresting a 24-year-old suspect as a probe into the incident was launched.
