LAHORE: Punjab and Sindh football teams reached the final of Inter-provincial U-14 Boys Football Championship after contrasting victories at the Boys Degree College ground in Rawalakot, Kashmir on Friday.

Punjab thrashed Gilgit Baltistan 4-0 in the first semi-final while Sindh had to struggle hard for 1-0 win against Kashmir in the second semi-final.

The final will be played on Saturday.

Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan will clash for the third position.

Punjab’s Raheel Azhar drew the first blood in the eighth minute. Mehran doubled the lead in the 40th minute.

In the 50th minute, striker Shahid made it 3-0. Forward Haider netted the fourth and last goal in the 66th minute.

Striker Aaqib struck the only goal for Sindh in the second half.
