LAHORE: A series of trials across the country will be held from April 22 to 29 to pick youngsters to induct them into the national junior and senior hockey teams.

The first venue of the trials is Quetta on April 22 follow by Karachi where two-day trials will be conducted on April 24 and 25. In Peshawar, the date of trials is April 27 while Lahore will host two-day trials on April 28 and 29.

The newly-formed national selection committee headed by former Olympian Islahuddin Siddiqi with other selectors namely, Ayaz Mahmood, Arshad Ali Chawdhry, Khalid Bashir and Mussadiq Hussain will supervise the trials.
