KARACHI: At least six people were killed on Saturday when a van overturned in Sheikhupura, television reports said.
Rescue efforts were launched soon after the accident.
At least eight people were also reported injured in the accident which happened when the vehicle flipped over due to a burst tyre.
The bodies and the injured had been shifted to a hospital, according to reports.
Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
