GWADAR / KHUZDAR: A strike was observed in various parts of the Makran division and Khuzdar district on Monday in protest against the killing of five people allegedly at the hands of security forces near Turbat on Saturday.
The strike was called by the Baloch National Front to condemn the ‘operation’ carried out by security forces in Pidrak and Dar-Make areas of Kech district in which five Baloch people were killed and some others injured.
Shops, markets and banks remained closed in the port city of Gwadar.
