TAXILA: A man was killed in a road accident near Officer Colony in Wah Cantonment on Friday.
Police sources said a beggar, identified as Abdul Khaliq, was begging at a roadside when a speeding car knocked him down. The driver of the vehicle left the vehicle on the spot and fled away.
Later some passerby took him to a local hospital where he died.
Wah Cantonment police have registered a case against the unknown driver.— Our Correspondent
