PESHAWAR: A three-day book fair began at the Sheikh Mohammad Taimur Academic Block of the University of Peshawar on Tuesday, where around 55 per cent discount is being offered on all the books.

Vice Chancellor Professor Mohammad Rasul Jan inaugurated the book fair.

Books ranging from literature, social sciences to natural sciences are on offer in the exhibition, and on the first day some 3,000 students visited the fair.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor Rasul Jan said that book reading was the key to success and a great source of knowledge through which students could learn social and professional skills.

He urged the students to benefit from the variety of books on offer at reasonable price at the fair and build on their reading habits.—APP
