Gas pipeline blown up near Kandhkot

KANDHKOT: Gas supply to Karachi and other cities of Sindh was suspended Friday when unidentified assailants blew up an 18-inch diameter gas pipeline near Kandhkot, DawnNews reported.

The pipeline was blown up with explosive materials in the village of Abdal Raheem Bajarani situated in Kandhkot. Subsequently, gas supply to Karachi and other cities of Sindh was suspended.

Following the explosion, gas was continuously leaking from the pipeline whereas security forces’ personnel cordoned off the area.
