Certain countries trying to sabotage govt-TTP talks: Zafarul Haq

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the House in Senate, Raja Zafarul Haq, said Thursday certain neighbouring countries were using their agents to destabilise Pakistan and de-track the government’s ongoing dialogue process with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Responding to points of order raised by certain Senators, Haq said time was needed to put the house in order, adding that it was not possible for things to improve immediately with the initiation of dialogue.
Haq said the country’s political parties had given their consent to hold dialogue with the TTP and that a consensus existed in that regard.
Negotiators from the government and the TTP are currently engaged in peace talks aimed at ending the militants’ insurgency that has claimed thousands of lives.
Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had expressed his satisfaction over the progress in negotiations between the government committee and the TTP.
Speaking to reporters in Ankara, the premier had added that the armed forces had extended support for the peace initiative. He moreover said that the Taliban had assured of action against those who had committed acts of terrorism in recent days.

What a non-sense. It is always others who do everything wrong in Pakistan. If Government and Taliban are sincere, I have my doubts, then no one can do something again the dialogue. May be Raja has realised that it is going to be a failure, he is trying to anticipate this by blaming others which is quite common practice in Pakistan.

What a liar - TTP central has claimed responsibility for every blast ever since the negotiations began. They have also announced that they will target Kalash and Ismailis. It is all hogwash that some countries or out of control TTP factions are sabotaging the peace process.

Oh for God's sake! Who is sabotaging peace talks? Just today TTP claimed responsibility of killing 13 people in Karachi. These people are monsters, they cannot be reasoned with. The only real enemy we have right now are these extremists, terrorists - TTP, SSP, LJ, LeT...

I DONT UNDERSTAND THE STRATEGY OF PAKISTAN GOVT IN DEALING WITH RUTHLESS TALIBN. THEY SHOULD BOMB THEIR HIDEOUTS WHEREVER THEY ARE.WHAT IS USE OF SUCH A STRONG MILITARY WHICH IS HELPLESS AND NOT WILLING TO PROTECT ITS CIVILIANS.

What "end to insurgency" are they talking about? The killings are still going on - in fact, they appear to have increased. The Talibans are obsessed with killing and it appears they get some sort of gratification by killing. So, no negotiations are going to help. They need to be responded the same way. Our military should go after them and eliminate them from the face of the earth. With our military might, we can do a much better and quicker job then they are doing and can save thousands of lives.

In Pakistan there are lot of conspiracy theory experts, and lot of takers for it. Glaring example is right here TTP is taking resposibility for recent attack and somebody has audacity to blame that on external forces. Probably he should have said TTP is also creation of foreign forces.
