KARACHI, Dec 4: Hyderabad Divisional Olympic Association (HDOA) will be organising the Hyderabad School Games 2013 for boys and girls at Board Stadium, Latifabad

No. 6 from Dec 6-18 in collaboration with the Sindh Olympic Association, Abdul Razzak Arain, Secretary General HDOA informed on Wednesday.

The sports disciplines to be contested in the event include athletics, basketball, boxing, chess, cycling, volleyball, tug of war, throwball, netball, table tennis, karate, badminton and handball.

Amir Shafiq Ahmed Sherwani, Secretary, BISE Hyderabad will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

The winning school team will receive a cash prize of Rs10,000, the runner-up Rs8,000 and third position holder will get Rs5,000.—Agencies
