SANGHAR, Nov 20: The records of Sanghar district health office were seized by the anti-corruption police on Wednesday.

Sanghar Circle officer Malik Mushtaque said that a contingent of anti-corruption police raided the district health office in the presence of first judicial magistrate Ashfaque Ahmed Nizamani. He said that record of medicines purchase of years 2011 till 2013 had been taken into custody with the record of medicines supplied to taluka headquarter hospitals and rural health centres in the district.

He said that as general public had complained and media reports had pointed out, most of the vehicles of the district health office had been off the road but charges of their maintenance, repair and fuel had been fully claimed.

He said that record of the polio campaign had not been seized since they had not received any complaints about them.—BoC
