One would only call a match a thriller if the pairs were somewhat equal in ratings. Unfortunately, in the past 8 months or so, Aisam and Roger have routinely lost to pairs rated 50 to 100 places below them. Even in minor ATP tournaments where they were seeded 1st , they were eliminated in the first or second round. Their first 3 matches have been close where a point or two the other way, and they would have been eliminated. And on grass to boot, which Aisam claims to be his strongest surface. It is sad to say, that in my opinion, now the only way Aisam is heading is down. The beginning of the end of his career is at hand. I would not be surprised if he ends the year at # 17 or so from the current # 12 . End of 2014 he will be rated around # 28 to 30. Mark my words.
