ISLAMABAD: The federal budget for the 2013-2014 financial year would be presented in the National Assembly on June 12, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said on Saturday.

Dar said a team of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) team would be visiting Pakistan in a few days.

The minister also said that the National Economic Council would be meeting on June 10.

Dar moreover pledged that the PML-N government would eliminate corruption from the country.

He added that the nation was facing serious economic challenges and they would work to improve wages and cultivate resources for the people.
