NOWSHERA, Oct 21: Unidentified dacoits looted a jewellery shop at gunpoint on Pabbi-Cherat road here on Sunday and decamped with gold worth millions of rupees.

Police said that four armed men came on two motorcycles and entered the Siraj Jewellery Shop on Pabbi-Charat road at around 8.45am. The dacoits held the shopkeeper and his employees at gunpoint and collected the jewellery. The shop owners, Siraj and Tela, told police that the dacoits took away 80 tolas of gold bars and precious stones.

The police reached the spot soon after receiving the information and cordoned off the G.T. Road. No arrests had been made till the filing of this report.—Correspondent
