ISLAMABAD: Federal finance minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh briefed the Awami National Party (ANP) on the country's political situation on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

Moreover, Senator Haji Adeel of the ANP said that although his party had no objection over the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz's 10-point reforms agenda, it did not offer solutions to the provinces' problems.

ANP recommended that the government should constitute a parliamentary committee comprising of representatives from all political parties to resolve the country's economic issues and other problems.

Adeel said the PML-N's agenda did not address the problems of smaller provinces. He further said that government organisations should decrease their petrol usage to at least 50 per cent.

Moreover, Adeel said that the government should cancel the allotments of plots to judges, army generals and journalists.
