KARACHI, Sept 6: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) on Monday announced the names of two women footballers to attend a week-long coaching and administration course in Sri Lanka.
Diya Women Football Club's (DWFC) midfielder Mahwesh Khan and Islamabad women football team's winger Mizghan Khan will be leaving for Sri Lanka to attend the course soon after Eid-ul-Fitr. Their travel and stay there will be taken care of by the PFF.
Hailing the gesture, PFF executive member and secretary DWFC Sadia Sheikh said: “We are grateful to PFF President Faisal Saleh Hayat to be sending these girls to attend such an important course that will further help promote women's football in Pakistan.”
