KARACHI: Two suspected gangsters were killed in an alleged shootout with law enforcers in the Lyari area on Friday, an official said.

Police with Rangers troops raided a hideout on reports about the presence of some gangsters in the Chakiwara area, the official said.

“The armed men in the hideout attacked the personnel of our team as they were taking positions following a tip-off about the presence of some criminals in the area,” said Chakiwara SHO Inspector Arshad Khan.
