Karate trials for Karachi team

KARACHI, June 2 Trials to select a Karachi karate team for the 13th Sindh Games will be held at Kakri Ground on June 4 (Friday), the Karachi District Karate Association (KDKA) announced on Wednesday.

Trials for men will be held in the 50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg and open category and in the 35kg, 40kg, 45kg, 50kg weight divisions for women who will also participate in the individual Kata and team kata events.

Karatekas from Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana and Sukkur will be taking part in the Sindh Games to be held here from June 14 to 16.—APP
