RAIWIND Information Secretary Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ahsan Iqbal has said that proof of the involvement of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the character assassination campaign against their leader would be given in time.

Talking to media here with Secretary General PML-N Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Iqbal said the smear campaign against Mian Nawaz Sharif would not be tolerated at any cost.

Iqbal said his party wanted to work on the charter of Democracy (CoD) but a group in the PPP did not care about the charter.

Commenting on the current tension between the PPP and the PML-N, he said 'PML-N has been very cooperative even though it is in opposition but the first stone was thrown from that side (PPP).'—Online
