11 hurt in Sibi blast

QUETTA, April 24 Eleven people were injured, three of them seriously, in a bomb explosion in Sibi on Saturday.

Sources said the bomb was planted in a shop on the Masjid road. The shop was destroyed in the blast and several nearby shops were damaged, according to sources.

Soon after the blast security personnel rushed to the site and took the injured to civil hospital. Hospital sources said the critically injured would be brought to Quetta.

Police sources said a locally-made explosive device was used.

The injured were identified as Shaukat Ali, Beer Chand, Fahad Hussain, Abdul Wahab, Sachal Khan, Ghulam Ali, Abdul Nabi, Abdul Rasheed, Najibullah Khattak, Haji Lal and Abdul Malik.
