KARACHI, Dec 6: The city government has issued a list of the rates and places where contracts of charged parking has been issued.

All these contracts were given by the defunct Karachi Metropolitan Corporation through open auction.

According to the list, Jahangir park, Frere Hall, Kothari Promenade, Bagh-i-Jinnah, Hill Park, AO Clinic, Ziauddin Hospital during 8am and 11pm charged parking rate is Rs5 for motorcycles and Rs10 for cars.

At Fayzee Rahami arts gallery from 7am to 7pm charged parking rate is Rs20 for cars.

At Spencer building, Sindh Secretariat and Pakistan Chowk from 9am to 5pm charged parking rate is Rs10 for the first three hours and Rs25 for the whole day for cars and for motorcycles Rs5 and Rs10.

Hyderi Market from 8am to 9.30pm charged parking rate is Rs10 and Rs5 for cars and motorcycles respectively.

Clifton Fish Aquarium from 10am to midnight charged parking rates are Rs10 and Rs5 for cars and motorcycles respectively.

Schon Circle to Boat Basin, from 8am to 11pm, charged parking rates will be Rs10 for three hours and Rs25 for full day for cars.

At Park Tower 9am to midnight cars Rs10 and motorcycles Rs5.

The same rates are charged at the Shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi from 10am to midnight.—PPI
