QUETTA, July 2 A division bench of the Balochistan High Court on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction over a report submitted by the Federal Investigation Agency on the container case in which 45 Afghan nationals had lost their lives.

The bench comprising Chief Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Justice Mehta Kalash Nath Kohli directed the agency to explain on whose orders the survivors of the tragedy were sent to Afghanistan without registration of a case.

The FIA report pertained to the arrest of the accused.

The court directed the inspector-general of Frontier Corps and FC commandant at Chaman to submit reports stating whether FC personnel had checked the container on border.

The court asked the collector of Balochistan Customs to appear in person at the next hearing on August 5.

The court had taken suo motu notice of the incident on April 4.
