Militants kidnap VC of Kohat varsity

KOHAT, Nov 6 Suspected militants kidnapped the vice chancellor of the Kohat University of Science and Technology from Akhorwal area of Darra Adam Khel on Friday evening.

Prof Dr Lutfullah Kakakhel was going to Peshawar when armed men stopped his car near Akhorwal area.

The kidnappers took hold of the car and forced Mr Kakakhel to go with them, leaving behind driver Raj Wali and the VC's companion Nadir Sarfraz.—Correspondent
