ISLAMABAD The Government has decided to manage all cement export activities in the future from Gwadar Port, while some import activity of wheat and fertilizer would also be shifted. 

 

This was stated by Federal Minister for Industries and Production Mian Manzoor Watoo while talking to the Chief Minister Baluchistan Nawab Raisani, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
 
Watoo observed that the shifting of these activities to Gwadar would enhance trade and business activities in Baluchistan and create new jobs.
 
He said the Federal Government has prepared various plans for the development of the province including supply of clean drinking water, development of precious stone industry, establishing of Export Processing Zone, facility of Utility stores and a scheme of tax breaks for Gwadar.
