ISLAMABAD, April 8: The Federal Cabinet was expanded on Tuesday with the induction of Shaukat Aziz and Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh as Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs and Minister for Privatization and Investment, respectively.

President Gen Pervez Musharraf administered the oath to the newly-inducted federal ministers here at the Aiwan-i-Sadr.

Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali was also present at the ceremony.

Before taking oath as federal ministers, Shaukat Aziz and Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh were working as advisers to Prime Minister on Finance and Privatization respectively.

Lt-Gen (retd) Jamsheed Gulzar Kiani also took the oath as Chairman, Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC). President Musharraf administered the oath to the new Federal Public Service Commission Chairman.—APP
