ISLAMABAD A national training camp for volleyball players started here on Wednesday to select and train the national squad for the upcoming Al-Rashid International Men's Volleyball Championship to be held in United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 22 to 28.

According to Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) Secretary Muhammad Afzal, the training program has been divided into two sessions under the supervision of coaches Muhammad Jameel and Hasan Mazhar Hasnain.

The squad comprises 18 players including Shah Rukh, Muhammad Raffaqat, Muhammad Tariq Waseem, Muhammad Yasin, Muhammad Asif, Zahid Bashir, Kashif Mansoor, Mohib Rasool, Syed Shujja Abbas, Ali Abbas, Farooq Kan, Nasir Khan, Amil Khan, Munir Khan and Muhammad Ismail.

Afzal said the championship will start from October 22, and national team will depart on for the UAE on October 20.
