LARKANA, Dec 1 Highwaymen late on Sunday night killed a landlord and kidnapped his friend from Bero Chandio village in the limits of Taluka police station Larkana. Abdul Razzak Mirjat, a resident of 'Siddikabad' locality of Qambar town was on his way to Qambar along with his friend Umar Mirjat in a car when some armed men signalled them to stop. The deceased ignored the signal and accelerated the car. The outlaws opened fire which resulted into the death of the landlord. The criminals later kidnapped Umar Mirjat and escaped.

It was learnt that the deceased after getting information that his tractor was robbed in village 'Phalah' on the outskirts of Qambar was heading towards Qambar from Larkana when he was killed.
