LARKANA, March 5: The Bhuttos and Mithanis, who were at daggers drawn ever since a clash in which one person was killed, have agreed on Wednesday to strike a truce.

The leaders of the Jeay Sindh Mahaz, Riaz Chandio and Haji Manzoor Kalhoro, talked to the tribes chiefs — Ali Gohar Mithani and Barkat Ali Bhutto — and convinced them on settling their dispute.

The press secretary of the JSM, Riaz Sangi, disclosed that a peace mission would have the dispute resolved.—BoC
