OKARA, Feb 19: Two girls were raped by vagabonds in different incidents on Wednesday.
In Iqbalpur village, Rehmat Ali’s daughter was going somewhere when two vagabonds Sarfraz and Muhammad Zubair took her to a nearby house at gunpoint. They raped her and injured her on resistance.
In another incident, Aslam’s daughter was raped by Rangranwala village’s shopkeeper Sajid.
Saddar police have registered the cases.
ROBBERY: Robbers on Tuesday plundered cash, gold ornaments and valuables from an agriculturist’s house and drove away with his motorcycle in Chak 15/GD, about 25 kilometres from here.
Reports said six armed men stormed into Muhammad Ashraf’s house and took away valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
Relevant police are investigating.
