KARACHI, Feb 11: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi would start issuing admit cards to science and general group regular students from Feb 17 for SSC part-II (class X) annual examination.

Admit cards of SSC Part-II general group (private) have already been sent to candidates at their residential addresses. The SSC examinations would commence on March 1.

The cards of the regular students would be handed to the representatives of schools at the board office as per schedule prepared town-wise. The secondary schools located in New Karachi, North Nazimabad, Gulberg and Liaquatabad should collect their cards on Feb 17, while the Lyari and Saddar town schools should collect it on Feb 18.

Schedule for schools of other towns is as follows: February 19-Keamari, SITE, Baldia and Orangi towns; February 20-Jamshed, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi and Korangi towns; February 21-Malir, Bin Qasim and Gadap towns.

The BSE has also finalized the programme and sequence of subjects pertaining to the SSC (Part I and II) annual examinations. Examinations would be held in two sittings, i.e. morning (9 am to 12noon and in the evening from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The examinations of Class X science, general group (regular and private) would be held in the morning, while in the case of Class IX science, general (regular and private) candidates examinations would be conducted in the afternoon.

The first paper of Class-X science and general group would be English compulsory Paper-I, which would be held on March 1. The papers of Class X fresh students would be held from March 18, when English Compulsory Paper II would be held.

In the case of fresh candidates of Class IX science group examinations, the first paper would be on March 17, when English compulsory Paper I would be held. Class IX general group fresh candidates’ examination would commence on March 18, with the holding of English compulsory paper.

The Class X science examinations would conclude on March 31, while Class X General group regular and private examination would continue till March 29. The Class IX science group examinations would conclude on March 29, while Class IX general group examinations would end on March 31.
