KARACHI: The caretaker Sindh cabinet was expanded with the induction of seven more members on Saturday.

Three new members are ministers while two are advisers to the caretaker chief minister and as many others are special assistants.

The ministers, who were administered the oath by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad at the Governor House in the evening, are Shuja Ahmed Junejo, Hasan Ali Sharif and Mohammad Jafar Khawaja.

The advisers to the caretaker chief minister are Dr Shafqat Abbasi and Fayyaz Shaikh.

The special assistants are Farhan Bokhari and Islahuddin.

Before the cabinet expansion, the caretaker Chief Minister, retired Justice Zahid Kurban Alavi, had 14 ministers, three advisers and one special assistant.
