RAWALPINDI: Ali Musa Gilani, son of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, and former federal minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin will be indicted in the ephedrine scam case on April 5.

The order was issued in this regard by Judge Arshad Mehmood Tabassum of the Anti-Narcotics Court.

The court was also informed on the arrest of Tauqir Ali Khan, the main accused in the case, by personnel of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

Khan had been declared an absconder by the Islamabad High Court in the case and was arrested upon his return from Dubai.

The case revolves around a Rs7 billion scam involving illegal sale of controlled substance ephedrine.
