QUETTA, March 10: Two young man killed their mother and a man in a village near Sibi on Sunday.

Levies Force officials said Sharbat Khan and Sodo Khan opened fire on their mother and the man in Goth Mehr Sowani, killing them on the spot.

“It appears to be an act of honour killing,” they said, adding that an investigation was in progress.

Those murdered were identified as Gul Naz and Zafarullah.  The bodies of the victims were moved to a hospital. The sons fled after carrying out the killing.

In another incident, a man gunned down his younger brother in Goth Suda Khan Umrani of Jaffarabad district.

Police said Ali Nawaz Umrani shot dead Habibullah Umrani over family feud. Police have registered a case but no arrest was made till late in the night.
