SWABI, Feb 1: Five people were killed in separate incidents across Swabi district on Friday, police said.

In Maneri Bala, one Abdul Naeem shot dead his brother Abdul Mateen after exchange of harsh words with him. The injured Mateen died in hospital. Wife of the deceased said the cause of the incident was dispute over ownership of their house.

A dispute over a woman led to killing of a man identified as Imtiaz Khan by his relatives near Gadoon Amazai industrial estate. An FIR was registered by the victim’s brother against the accused Abdullah in the city police station.

In Kunda, a man identified as Niaz Mohammad was shot dead by another man Dawar Zaman over a trivial issue in Chota Lahor tehsil.

In Bamkhel village, an eight-year-old boy Sheryar Khan died after being bitted by a rabid dog.

A man was hit and killed by a speeding motorcyclist in Lalu Dheri area. He was identified as Salat Khan.
