KARACHI, Jan 18: Chief of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain, has asked his party workers to remain peaceful and show patience instead of reacting to the terrorist activities in the city.

Speaking to the participants of the Soyem Fateha of Salman Farooqui and Masood Ali, who were killed by unknown people in Federal B Area, on January 15, Mr Altaf said that his party would adopt legal measures against the terrorists activities.

He said that it was due to efforts of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement that peace and tranquillity were returning to the city.

However, he said, the socalled religious parties did not like the change and wanted to disturb peace in the city.
