Carnage in Quetta

Published January 14, 2013

NOWSHERA, Jan 13: Defense Council of Pakistan chairman Maulana Samiul Haq has demanded of the federal government to dismiss the provincial government and hand over control of Quetta city to the army.

Talking to media persons at Darul Uloom Haqania Akora Khattak, here on Sunday, he warned that the country might face another unfortunate incident if the issue of Balochistan was not resolved immediately. “Balochistan is passing through a critical phase and the government should think about it seriously,” he said.

“The government should hand over the control of Quetta to the army to provide security to the poor and innocent residents,” he demanded.

Maulana Sami said the government was busy in plundering the national exchequer as the enemies hatched a systematic conspiracy against the country and its people. He vowed to foil the agenda of conspirators, who were intentionally trying to alienate Balochistan.—Correspondent
