KARACHI: Postponed KU exam on 30th

KARACHI, Jan 13: The Examination Department, University of Karachi, on Monday announced to hold examination for external candidates of BCom Part-1, Paper V, Accounting, which was disturbed due to the rain on Dec 30, 2002, at the Shaikh Zaid Islamic Centre.

The candidates have been asked to submit photocopies of their admit cards up to Jan 23, at the Silver Jubilee Gate No1 of the university, to appear for the said paper, going to be held on Jan 27.

LANGUAGE COURSES: Karachi University has offered admissions to various language courses.

This was stated by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof Abu Zar Wajidi, on Monday.

He said that the certificate courses would be offered in Arabic, Bengali, French, Persian, Italian, Japanese, Sindhi, Spanish and Turkish.

It was also announced that the university students would also be eligible for the admission.—PPI/APP
