HYDERABAD, Dec 16: The wife of a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) activist was killed by unknown persons who reportedly broke into his house in Telegraph Colony within the remit of the Kotri police station on Saturday night.The activist, PML-N Jamshoro president Advocate Nisar Ahmed Chandio, was not at home, an official at the police station said, adding that armed men broke into the house at around 1am and shot dead the woman, Ms Bilqees, 27.

A case was registered at the Kotri police station under sections 302, 34 and 452 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against unknown killers on Sunday afternoon.

Police believed that some old enmity was a motive behind the murder.
