QUETTA, Nov 14: The son of Sher Mohammad Bugti, the spokesman for the banned Baloch Republican Party (BRP), was killed in an armed clash with security forces in the Noshki district.Sources in the BRP said on Wednesday that Haq Nawab was killed while fighting with security forces in the Noshki district bordering Afghanistan.

Calling reporters from an undisclosed location, the BRA spokesman claimed that security forces had suffered heavy losses in the fighting. Police and district administration officials, however, said that no clash had been reported from any part of the district.  A spokesman for the Frontier Corps, which has a presence in the boarder area, also denied that any clash had taken place there.—Staff Correspondent
