Security for blasphemy victim

August 30, 2012

REGARDLESS of further details about Rimsha’s case and her alleged involvement in blasphemy, it is much more important to provide her security in jail.

While producing her in open courts a mishap may occur. The government should provide her foolproof security. After her 14-day remand period, she should not be produced in open courts.

Her case should be heard in jail premises. The local magistrate’s attention, as well as his order, is needed.
