NOWSHERA, Aug 24: The police on Friday claimed arresting three robbers and recovering jewellery and cash from them.

SP investigation Israr Bacha told a press conference at Akora Khattak police station that during initial interrogation the accused confessed to have committed the robbery in the house of Dr Aftab Ali, resident of Shaidu on July 21.

He identified the accused as Waseem, Noshad alias Foji and Rokhan Khan. He said police recovered 30 tola gold, Rs300,000 and weapons from them.

Meanwhile, the district and sessions judge on Friday directed the DPO to produce two young brothers of Hakeemabad in the court today (Saturday). The court took the action on an application by Bibi Nazra, who stated that her two sons Bilal Noor and Hazrat Noor were arrested by Nowshera cantt police on August 14 and since then they had not returned home.—Correspondent
