Majid, Hunain ousted from World U-21 Snooker

KARACHI, July 20: Pakistan’s top two junior cueists — Mohammad Majid Ali and Hunain Aamir — were knocked out in the last-32 round of the IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship in Wuxi, China, on Friday.

Thailand’s Noppon Saengkham sent Majid packing 5-1 the scores being 71-33, 61-18, 39-68, 78-29, 95-6, 76-33.

In the other match, China’s Zhou Yuelong cut Hunain to size inflicting 5-2 defeat. The Chinese triumphed 14-81, 87-21, 69-42, 31-65, 56-48, 81-0, 80-47 to surge into pre quarter-finals.
