LAHORE, July 10: Eminent journalist Bashir Ahmed Qureshi passed away here on Tuesday. He was 95.
He is survived by his journalist son Sarmad Bashir and a daughter.
Mr Qureshi started his career with The Pakistan Times in the 1970s, served as bureau chief at PPI and also worked with Dawn.
His funeral prayers will be offered at his residence -- House No.143, Block-II, Sector C-II, Township at 10am on Wednesday (today).
