I WOULD like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned towards reckless driving by Qingqi rickshaw drivers. These rickshaws are available everywhere but their drivers neither drive safely nor care about driving rules.
I have seen many times that they stop in the middle of the road to pick and drop a passenger which is dangerous for everyone. Mostly the drivers are inexperienced teenagers. It means they do not possess driver’s licence.
Qingqi rickshaw is a cheap mode of transportation for the middle class. But the traffic police must take action against these reckless rickshaw drivers for the safety of passengers and pedestrians.

how many lavish cars are on the road as compared to rickshaws? If we start looking at everything this way, we will never do anything.

When I was in Lahore, a few decades ago, I used to say to my friends and relatives that everybody travelling in rickshaw in Lahore survives accidentally.

But the problem is who will take action. Relevant departments are not ready to check. Not only rickshaw bus drivers are also in the same.
