QUETTA: A bomb blast partially damaged a railway track in Sariab area of the provincial capital on Sunday night.

Police said that unknown men had planted explosive material on the railway track passing through Sariab area and detonated it.

The explosion partially damaged a portion of the track. The law enforcement agencies rushed to the site and cordoned off the entire area to trace the suspects. No loss of life was reported.

The technical teams of the Pakistan Railways also reached the site to repair the damaged portion. The blast caused suspension of railway traffic.
