LONDON: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday said that there was no corruption case against him and the issue was only about shielding the constitution. He also assailed the Sharif brothers for interpreting the Supreme Court’s verdict for their own gains, DawnNews reported.

The premier doubted intentions of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over passage of Bahawalpur province’s resolution from the Punjab Assembly. “There is something wrong in all of this,” he added.

Moreover, he reiterated his stand that there was no clash among institutions of the state.

The premier prohibited himself from commenting on resumption of Nato supply routes however mentioned that the matter was still under consideration.

Gilani, by proclaiming his tour to the UK successful, said that he is visiting the kingdom on invitation of his British counter part David Cameron and declared his meeting with him very “fruitful.”
